Do a wash-and-go on coily hair
Choose this when you want your wet coil groups to dry in their shrunken pattern with a label-compatible styling layer and minimal handling.

Step by step
STEP 1 OF 3Condition and keep coils wet
- Finish cleansing, conditioning and detangling with hair wet. Keep sections clipped so each stays wet and manageable.
- Read the styler label for amount, placement and restrictions on products already in the hair. Use a compatible routine; do not assume an added leave-in improves results.
STEP 2 OF 3Style one wet section
- Apply the selected styler in its label amount and placement. Smooth, rake or scrunch the section only as its directions and your selected shaping method permit.
- Re-wet with plain water if the section dries before application. Set each finished group down without reopening it.
STEP 3 OF 3Let the groups dry untouched
- Release the arranged groups and choose complete air-drying or the separate reviewed diffuser guide. Keep hands out while hair is damp.
- When roots and inner groups are fully dry, lift gently at the roots or separate only the few groups needed for the finish.
About 30–60 min hands-on for cleansing, conditioning, detangling, sectioned styling and a final dry-hair check. Add product dwell and full air-drying, or a separate active diffuser session.
You’re done when…
Roots and inner coil groups feel fully dry before any lifting or separation, and the wet-set groups remain undisturbed through drying.
