Wash only your fringe between full washes

Separate the fringe, keep the rest of the hair dry, then shampoo, rinse and blot the small front section over a basin.

Step by step

  1. Both hands separate the fringe and secure the remaining dry hair with sectioning clips.

    Separate and secure the fringe

    • On dry hair, use fingertips to separate the fringe from the longer hair behind it.
    • Clip the remaining hair loosely back and test that no clip pulls.
    • Place shampoo and an absorbent towel within reach of the clean basin.

    Use a basin you can lean over comfortably. Pour clean water with a cup or use a handheld sprayer; keep one hand free to open or support the hair. Put the cup, sprayer or bottle down before using both hands.

    Wet, shampoo, and rinse the fringe

    • Lean steadily over the basin and wet only the fringe and front hairline.
    • Use a very small label-compatible amount of ordinary shampoo at that area, keeping it from the eyes.
    • Rinse until no visible suds remain and keep the clipped hair out of the water.
  3. Both hands press the clean towel around the rinsed fringe without rubbing.

    Blot and reset the section

    • Press the fringe gently in the absorbent towel; do not rub.
    • Remove the clips only after water is no longer dripping.
    • Arrange and air-dry the fringe, or use its separate styling guide, then wipe water from the basin and floor.

About 2–5 min hands-on for clipping back the rest, washing and rinsing the fringe, blotting and basin cleanup. Add product dwell if required and air-drying or separate active fringe styling.
