Soften dry lengths without water

When dry lengths feel rough between washes, a small cream touch-up may improve their feel without wetting the whole style. Judge the result before adding more.

Step by step

    Choose one dry section

    • Check that the label permits dry-hair use. Bring one dry, reachable side section forward and leave the rest alone.
    • Place a small label-directed amount in your palm and spread it thinly between both hands.

    Coat only the rough lengths

    • Support the section in one palm. Glide the other lightly down its lower lengths and ends without tugging.
    • Settle that section into the style before deciding whether another section needs any product.

    Check before adding more

    • Lower your hands and feel one treated end lightly. Stop if the hair feels comfortable or begins to feel coated.
    • Clean your hands and cap the product. Leave unaffected areas alone rather than adding cream across the whole head.

About 30 sec–2 min hands-on for applying a thin film to a few rough dry lengths and hand cleanup. Prior washing or styling is separate.
