Step by step

    Take a small amount

    • With clean, dry hands, place a small label-directed amount of the finishing product on two fingertips.
    • Rub the fingertips together to make a thin film. Keep the product off the hair until you have chosen the small area to smooth.

    Guide one small flyaway

    • Use the product-coated fingertips to follow the direction of the surrounding hair from the flyaway toward the style.
    • Use light contact only. If you need to reach, reposition instead of pulling at a hidden area.

    Leave the finish alone

    • Lower your hands and check that the selected hairs lie with the style.
    • Wash or wipe excess product from your hands, then stop rather than adding product across the whole head.
