Shake cosmetic hair fibers onto dry hair
Use a sifter container for a small reachable area with existing hair, then settle the fibers with a gentle pat. This changes appearance and does not treat hair loss or create new hair.
Step by step
STEP 1 OF 3Choose a reachable dry area
- Read ingredients, testing and use directions. Start with fully dry existing hair, following your label’s order relative to other styling products.
- Protect clothes and the counter. Remove only the outer cap, keeping the sifter in place; use a fixed mirror so both hands are free.
STEP 2 OF 3Shake a little onto existing hair
- Hold the sifter above the chosen reachable hair area at the label’s distance. Shake a small amount gently, keeping loose material away from your face.
- Pause and check coverage before adding more. Do not pour from an open bottle, blow fibers into place or apply blindly to an unseen area.
STEP 3 OF 3Pat gently and clean up
- Put the bottle down and gently pat the hair as directed to settle the fibers. Stop at the coverage you want rather than building a heavy loose layer.
- Replace the outer cap, clean loose fibers from the counter and wash your hands. Follow the label if using a compatible setting product; none is required by this guide.
- At the directed wash, shampoo and rinse the fibers out. Do not scrub the scalp or treat cosmetic coverage as a treatment for hair loss.
A small reachable area, excluding any prior label-directed test and later washing.
You’re done when…
The reachable area has the coverage you want, fibers are gently settled, the container is closed and loose material is cleaned away; removal follows the shampoo directions.
