Pack cut hair for donation

Check the recipient’s current requirements, preserve the bundle and prepare its requested packaging. This guide begins after the haircut and does not teach cutting.

Step by step

  1. Two adult hands support an already cut dry ponytail bundle with its bands still in place.
    STEP 1 OF 2

Check the dry bundle and recipient instructions

    • Read the recipient’s current acceptance, packaging and form requirements. Confirm the already cut bundle was prepared for that recipient.
    • Support the bundle and check that all hair is fully dry and its securing bands remain in place. Pause if it is damp, loose or uncertain.
  2. Adult hands guide the secured hair bundle into a paper mailing envelope beside a donation form.
    STEP 2 OF 2

    Pack without undoing the bundle

    • Keep the bands on and place the whole dry bundle into the packaging the recipient specifies. Do not brush it out or add loose swept hair.
    • Complete the required form, check the current destination and seal as directed. Keep any posting record you need.

One already prepared bundle; prior drying and shipping are additional.

Unmeasured editorial handling estimate for the stated scope. Familiarity, access and the item or hair being handled change the time.

You’re done when…

The dry secured bundle is packed as the recipient requests, with any required form and the current destination checked.
