Finish a style with hairspray
Add a light, label-directed hold finish to a dry style.

Step by step
STEP 1 OF 3Mist from a comfortable distance
- Start with dry, finished hair and check the label’s spray distance. Hold the can upright at that distance from a visible, reachable area.
- Shield your eyes with your free hand, aim away from your face, and use a short burst. Move to another reachable area only if you want more finish.
STEP 2 OF 3Let the mist settle
- Put the cap on or place the can upright on a stable surface.
- Keep your hands off the hair briefly so the light mist can settle; do not add more just because the hair still feels damp from the spray.
STEP 3 OF 3Check the dry style
- Once the mist has settled, look over the style with clean, open hands nearby rather than repeatedly combing through it.
- Store the can according to its label before moving on.
About 15–30 sec hands-on for a few label-directed hairspray bursts, a finish check and putting the can away. Add the label's settling or drying time; prior styling is separate.
You’re done when…
The light mist has settled on the dry style, and the can is closed or stored according to its label.
