Apply temporary root powder

When you want temporary coverage along a reachable part, a brush-applied powder offers targeted placement. Coverage is cosmetic and does not treat thinning or alter hair growth.

Step by step

  1. Loading the supplied brush from a root-powder compact.

    Prepare the supplied brush

    • Check the label and select a matching shade. Protect your clothes, then open the compact on a stable counter.
    • Load the small brush as directed; keep the powder close to the compact instead of flicking it into the air.

    Press onto a small root area

    • At a fixed mirror, steady a small dry section gently with one hand. Press the loaded brush onto the roots as the label describes.
    • Work outward only over the area needing cover. Keep contact light enough that the scalp is not pulled or scratched.
  3. Gently brushing excess root powder off dry hair with the clean edge of the brush.

    Remove excess and plan washing

    • Use the clean brush edge as directed to remove excess, then cap the compact and clean any skin transfer promptly.
    • At your next label-directed wash, shampoo and rinse the powder out. Do not scrub the scalp to remove color.

About 1–3 min hands-on for brushing powder onto selected roots, removing excess and cleanup. The next shampoo wash is separate; add any wait required by the powder label.
